Why do we feed our puppies in their crates? Multi Why do we feed our puppies in their crates? Multiple reasons! Mostly so they get use to and love their kennels as their “den” we usually do breakfast right away in the morning and then resting kennel time after they run around and go potty. This way they feel at home and are calm in their crates. Feeding them in their crates is also a great way for us to make sure they are getting all of their nutrients each day!
